Yet another Creative Cloud "No Internet Connection but there is an internet connection" discussion

HI all,

So I have a user that is having the issue with opening up Adobe Creative Cloud and getting the "No internet connection" error, with the "Retry" and "Continue Offline" buttons.  Here's what I've tried so far:

- Tested the connection to Adobe activation servers via the https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/renga-idprovider/resources/img/logos.png  link (Response Successful)

- Tested the connection to Adobe licensing servers via the Creative Cloud/CS6 https://lm.licenses.adobe.com/vact/ping  link ( Response Successful)

- Reset the hosts file, both using the tool and manually.  Also copied over a hosts file from a known working PC as well

- Ensured the user is able to access secured sites such as https://www.adobe.com

- Checked the GlobalSign Root CA certificate to ensure it is installed, enabled, and used for Server Authentication

Additionally, steps I have taken:

- Exempted the users PC from going through any proxies or having their IP traffic inspected by any firewall/IPS/IDS in the path

- Completely uninstalled all Adobe Apps as well as Creative Cloud, rebooted the PC, downloaded the latest installer from Adobe's site and installed.

After all of this, I still get the message.  The *really weird* part is that if I click to continue offline, the apps all work properly, it lets me download new ones, and even shows the users as "Signed In".

I have other users on this exact same network with the exact same PCs all working, without any firewall exemptions in place.

Is there anything else I can try before just reimaging this thing?

confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers by reading, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

do you see both logos?

if you can and still see a connection error, white list the adobe network endpoints, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html or using a browser that allows popups and cookies,  contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html
