Adobe Bridge in CS4

My Adobe Bridge in CS4 stopped working.  Is there a way I can repair just the Bridge program without uninstalling the whole suite.  I have tried uninstalling the whole CS4 but I get messages that programs are running and need to stop running before I can uninstall and I can not find how to stop those programs.  Thanks.  Scruffyy
