Question

Adobe lightrrom 6 - In the Box was a sheet with a code that shall help to get the serial code- no success to get the serial code

I bought a CD for Adobe Photoshop Lightoom 6 in a german shop.

Inclused was a paper sheet with a so called (I translate that in english ) "calling" - code (in german "Abruf"-Code but which is no serial number )

They wrote n that sheet: I shall ernter the page www.adobe.com/go/getserial

BUT when I do so, then  I automatically enter my account page and a sheet that says I shall now enter the serial code - bit this is a joke as I don't have that serial code yet!

I need to find the page where to enter the first code which seems to enable me to get the serial code. BUT WHERE???

It looks like a bug and I seem not to be the only one with this problem. The software box was "activated "when I bought the software in the shop and it is now about a wek or so ago when I did so.

Any help very welcome

sincerely

A redemption code usually comprises 24 digits (letters and numbers) which when converted produces a 24 digit serial number commencing 1160 (all numbers and no letters)

    https://redeem.licenses.adobe.com/getserial

In the UK the disk version in a box usually has the serial number inside the packaging. It is normally necessary to pull out the white cardboard inner box to find it or there could be a sticker on the disk wrapper.

The system may be different in Germany and I suggest you go back to the reseller or their website to ask for instructions.

    Thanks 99job

but no success here . I visited that page already a dozen times (and tried a gain now) the problem is here on that page,  that they ask for the serial code and there is no option to enter the "calling-code" in advance to get that serial code. as well no button to click (they announce one but it is not there)  I just tried it again. Another problem is , that  I am not using adobe through the cloud but via software that I bought on a disk. There seems to be not a lot support those customers. The help sites are full with the cloud customers but really difficult to find help for the "old fashioned " users who avoid the cloud.

Anyway thanks for the try to help

    appreciated (-:

    cheers
