Archived Adobe air installer?

Hi!  In order to use my Cricut Craft room software, I need to be running Adobe Air.  The newest version did something so that I could not use the machine so Cricut Support suggested I uninstall all Adobe Air and reinstall the archived version 21.0.0.215.  I downloaded it but cannot figure out how to actually install it.  Thanks for your help!

Correct answer kglad

you want the runtime download, not the sdk.

Find and download archived versions of Adobe AIR SDK

I have the same issue, keep getting a cut error. Where do I find the archived version? I went on adobe, and there was an error message, page not found and was advised to go to Adobe Support.

Hi!  Here's what Cricut sent me:

I apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced.  Are you using a Windows or MAC computer with the Cricut Craft Room?  I would like to have you go through your computer and remove everything with the Adobe Air on your computer.  This issue is caused by the latest version of Adobe Air.  Once that is done, please empty your trash if you are on a MAC, then restart your computer (whether you are on a MAC or PC).  Once that is done, please go to  https://helpx.adobe.com/air/kb/archived-air-sdk-version.html and download version 21.0.0.215 for the Adobe Air.

Once this is done, you should no longer experience this issue.  Also, do not update Adobe Air when prompted.

Just make sure you download the "runtime" (whatever that is) like kglad said and it should work.  I'm up and cutting again!

Good luck!

Angie

Hi again!  It doesn't appear to have an exe.  All I can find in what I downloaded are folders with samples, templates, runtimes, include, lib, bin, framework, atftools, and a pdf license, a read.txt, air-sdk-description.xml, and airsdk.xml.  I've opened all the folders and can't find an exe.  I am NOT a super computer head so I might be missing something obvious to others, but any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!!!

thanks again and sorry!
