    Mac or Windows, and EXACTLY which version of the operating system?

    Recent Mac AND Windows operating systems have been known to cause "odd" problems

    Are you using a computer Administrator account with full read/write permission?

    Windows 7, CS5 extended, Version 12.0.4 x 64.  The software on my office tower fails to open with Error: 213:5.  The software on my home laptop is oening and operating with no problems.  Should I reinstall if possible?

    Many thanks. the "Install Log Error" link you provided solved my problem.

    Just a change of the program data log properties where "read only" was checked.
