Question

Creative Cloud libraries taking up all my solid state drive

Hello,

I am on window 7 64 bit (fully updated) and a couple of years ago I installed a solid state drive for running windows and Photoshop on for the speed advantage. This is a 120gb dive, all that is installed on it is windows, my adobe software and some small system utility apps.

Now said drive is down to just a tiny amount of space left over and my computer is running like a one legged sloth in potato sack. Trying to see where all the space has gone I found that my CC libraries are still being stored in C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Creative Cloud Libraries and taking up 4gb of space this is despite my settings in the CC app where I have set the folder location to a standard (huge) hard drive. All that is stored in the folder location that I set is a red CC icon named "Creative Cloud Files" that is 5.80mb.

Please, please help a lady out, I have work to produce and no time to hunt down whatever else is taking up all my space. I do not have system restore turned on and checked that there are not any old restore points. Also used CCleaner and windows clean up tool to remove all old update files and other crap.

Best regards,

Angela

Hey there, look inside C:\Windows\Temp. Usually a load of crap piles up there, just delete it. Recently I reclaimed some 30 GB of space using this trick. Hope it helps.
