Creative Cloud Trial Reset (New Computer)

Hey guys, I am sorry if this has already been answered but I have just been in an online chat with an extremely incompetent adobe rep about this issue. Perhaps you can help.

In the very recent past if I had purchased a new computer (while on my old computer the adobe creative cloud trial was expired) it would let me download and install a new trial of creative cloud for 7 days. Again, we are talking about an instance where I had an expired trial of adobe illustrator CC under a specific adobe id. I test and review alot of budget laptops so its been nice to be able to install a new instance of illustrator CC trial on a NEW computer that has never had it before.

So now I have a new very budget laptop, purchased today.I went to the adobe website and logged in with my adobe id. I downloaded illustrator and for some reason it opened and let me create a new file. So it DID work ONCE.But because it is a new laptop, windows updates needed to install and I had to restart my pc. So when I went to open on illustrator again, It tells me my trial has expired. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thank You

Please let me know if you need any additional info.

This actually doesnt answer my question. Say you have already run through your 7 days and the trial on one particular computer is actually finished. If you buy a new computer and login, Adobe had previously given you another full 7 day trial. My feeling on this was that they wanted you to be able to test it n the actual computer you were going to use it on.
