Just got 2 notifications that updates are available and updates are failing with the above error

What I have tried

Signing out of Creative Cloud and Signing back in again

Clearing Temp Files

Disabling Firewall

Clearing cookies data

Rebooting PC

Re-installing Creative Cloud

Checked my host file

And can you please fix the unread notification thing it's really annoying!!!!

Best practice with Windows 8.1 and 10 (When CC installations and updates won't play nicely) is to restart your computer, and open the Application Manager as Administrator (by right clicking).  If you have not tried that procedure up to now, that would definitely be worth a try.

If that fails, uninstall Photoshop again (sorry ) and run the Cleaner tool before reinstalling.

So give those a try.  I can't see anything likely to cause issues in your system info. Indeed, it looks like a stellar system.  The only times I see the Application Manager not seeing the internet connection, is shortly after start up, although I do sometimes get issues with some apps after running peer to peer software.  A system restart usually fixes those, but if that fails, powering off and back on the broadband/fibre router does the trick.

Adobe are working with Jive to sort of the teething problems (bugs) that arose after the forum software update last week.  There is a thread on the subject here

Tried reinstalling PS and using the cleaner tool and all the suggestions mentioned in the link, still no joy

I was able to re-install PS using the creative cloud app so that would mean that it's not an issue with my PC

I would assume this is just an update for Camera Raw so I done a manual install of the latest version from here

Also tried re-imaging my PC from last weeks backup image and still no joy, I know it's not a problem with my PC as everything else updates fine and I have zero issues in relation to internet connectivity so I can only assume it's an issue on Adobe's end

Found a solution thanks to MrTom over in Photoshop Gurus Forum

Changing the DNS setting to Googles DNS resolved the issue

Well that worked for a while until creative told that Photoshop isn't installed and after clicking yes to install I'm back to the same error

Sorry for the late reply I was using DHCP previously before the issue arose, the recommendation came from one of my friends over in Photoshop Guru's

Ok thank you Ged.  I would recommend you do contact your Internet Service Provider and verify their recommend DNS settings.  If those settings are not working, and don't have a listings for the appropriate Adobe servers, then they can report the issue so that the DNS server can be corrected.

I am very happy that you are able to download and update your Adobe software successfully after updating the DNS server setting.
