Question

CS3 install on Windows 7 64-bit

I have a purchased copy of Production Premium CS3 which I have been using for many years.  I just got a new PC at work andtried to install it, it crashes without explanation on DIsk 4.  Since Photoshop is primarily what I use these day, I downloaded the CS3 standalone version of this and installed it (which worked).  My problem is the serial key from my Production Premium won't work for Photoshop, even though Photoshop is included in the Suite.

Please help!

your serial number will only work for that suite, not any individual installers of programs contained in that suite.

copy all the contents of all your installation disks to one desktop directory and click setup in that directory.  you should be offered the option of installing all or any subset of the programs in your suite.  pick which ever you still need to install.

if that fails, download the prod prem cs3 suite and install using the downloaded files,

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.
