Hi Atul

We are a UK registered charity which has just upgraded to a new desktop running Windows 10.

We had a licensed (educational) copy of CS4 Creative Suite standard which was working on our desktop which failed,  and is still working on our laptop under Windows 10. We use this for charity newsletters and managing our photo collection.

However we are having problems getting it to work on the new desktop (Windows 10).

License number is <Removed by Moderator>

which was an upgrade from CS3 <Removed by Moderator>

but when I logi in using my Adobe ID none of this shows on my account.

Are you able to help/advise?

Kind regards

Mark

    Hi Atul

Thanks for responding but after much trauma I've managed to sort out the

    problem.

My CS4 Design Suite runs perfectly under Windows 10 but first:

    1. I had to double check my products were registered using my Adobe ID (and

there were some issues with changes of email addresses) but all sorted now.

    2. I then had to download a new copy of CS4 from licensing/.adobe.com (just

two files but one very large)

    3. I used my original genuine serial number on the package; it has not

asked me to activate so far.

It still gave me a corrupt database message but once I removed the caps

file in common/adobe the installation worked perfectly.

I had extremely good 'chat' support from our Indian friends.

    Kind regards

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

As you have mentioned that you are trying to install Adobe CS4 apps on your Windows 10 Laptop and you are unable to do that.I would like to know the exact error that you are getting while installing the application so that we may assist you appropriately.

I would also like to share the system requirements for CS4: - System requirements | Adobe Creative Suite 4, Point Products. You may encounter some unexpected behavior as it is a very old application and was never tested on the latest OS. However, I'll try my best to assist you here with it.

Please clarify if the issue is with the installation or with the activation so that we can take this further.

    Thanks,
