CS6 Design standard package

Hello,

I just purchased and installed CS6 Design standard package. I downloaded the following four files:

DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.7z

DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.exe​

Illustrator_16_Content_LS16.exe​

InDesignFamily_8_Content_ALL.exe​

When I executed the ALL file, I received a message saying installation was completed but also an error message saying that some components of Ps Ai and ID could not be installed, but the error report link led to nothing online. I successfully activated my liscence, and I can find Illustrator in a weird location on my computer through a shortcut, In Design is correctly in the Program file, and both seem to work. But I can't seem to find Photoshop anywhere on my computer. I tried calling customer service and chatting online but was denied assistance for CS6. I just purchased this product and cannot use it. Can you please help.

    Hi,

    Please refer : Adobe Creative Suite 6 installation instructions

    Alternatively you can try downloading from the direct download links available at:Download Adobe CS6 Trials: Direct Links (no Assistant or Manager) | ProDesignTools

    But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.

    I have tried to follow the instructions upon installation, but found them rather unclear.

    Question A:

    Can you please precise what is meant by:

    On the Your Downloads page, you see the product name and serial number for the software you purchased. Click the Akamai Download Manager link for the product you want to download. Is it the .7z or .exe files links? (See screen shot of what I see below)

    Question B:

    Also, the next step does not ring a bell:

    If you do not already have the Akamai NetSession interface installed on your computer, you are prompted to install it. Click the Download the Installer link. If a File Download window opens asking you to run or save the NetSession installer, click Run.

    • If the file is downloaded to your computer, navigate to the directory containing the downloaded file. Then, double-click the file.
    • Accept the license agreement by clicking I Agree and Next.
    • The NetSession interface is installed on your computer.

    I was never prompted to install Akamai NetSession interface... I just downloaded the files, could not open the compressed 7z file, and my computer recommended to use WinZip, which I did...

    Can you comment on questions A and B please?

    Hello,

    After installing PS manually, the folder was finally created, but then the error message above appeared. Without the error summary, how would I know which component is not correctly installed.

    Those might be optional Windows components, if the Photoshop is launching and working fine that means , main core components are installed properly.

    You may go ahead and use the application . just in case if you face any kinda issue , let us know   we will be happy to help .
