Dreamweaver CS6 12.0.3 Update Failure. Please help!
OK, first, please let me RANT! Adobe, you are, and have been the new Microsoft for the longest time now. You make the shittiest updaters that break your apps, ALL THE TIME! I haven't changed a DAMN thing since installing CS6 Design & Web Premium from a clean install! Yet, now, like in the past, I inevitably ALWAYS encounter install errors that cause headaches. I've now spent at least a FULL DAY reading on the internet, error codes, looking for instructions, and god forbid, READING F**KING INSTALLER logs that make NO F**KING SENSE!!! Your instructions on how to read installer files are USELESS! You guys shold be shot for shitty programming. This is like B.S. Windows DLL crap. Enough already, I'm spent. I spend thousands of dollars for mediocre software updates for you, on a very expensive platform (Mac) to avoid problems like this. You guys have NEVER failed to give me a headache, and you've been doing it to me since 1986/7! Yes, I've been using your software since PageMaker and Photoshop 1.0!!! Please not, this rant isn't just for the following failure, I've been dealing with Install failures since CS4 and have NEVER had a current version of the software, except when I update to the next major version, then you guys break that one too!
Somebody who knows what the hell is going on, please help me. I have no clue what's happening here. Like I loosely mentioned in my rant above, I'm on a Mac. I'm working with a clean install that's been patched by Adobe installers up to the point where I have a failed DW CS6 12.0.3 update. Nothing on the machine has changed, I've just installed a new blank hard drive. I've done everything this stupid company has said to do, including downloading the DW updater DGM file separately from the Adobe site, and log file interpretation in unison with KB, it makes no sense. Even the support advisor makes no sense, reference CS5 which is long gone. I'm gathering some sort of language pack installer issue, but who knows if it's needed or not. I'm not a stupid user. I'm very adept at getting around the nuts and bolts of a Mac, and very much a power user, but I'm at witts end with this software. Please see the log below. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
