Trying to install Adobe XD June update but get:

Exit Code: 183

I tried all of the tips in this Error code 183 when installing XD on Windows  and still no success. One thing I noticed is that the link says "CSDKConfigurator.exe" whereas my error says "PluginCleanup.exe". I updated the permissions for both, still with same failed results. This is on an administrator work account, so creating another local admin account isn't the best workaround. Help?

Already replied on other threads mentioning the problem, but adding it here as well for completion.

We identified the issue as being related to some older versions of MS Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable which might be present on some machines. We implemented a fix around it and it is already publicly available starting today with the latest version of XD, namely version 21.1. The update is available through the Creative Cloud application.

As a note, the fix addresses the specific case of error 183 during installation caused by the failure to run "PluginCleanup.exe" (which is the exact one mentioned in this thread).

Chsitech, what type of Creative Cloud membership did your organization purchase?  Have you contacted your local I.T. team to see if they also face a permission failure while attempting to update Adobe XD?

I will check in with them the next time I can. Also, for the record, I was able to successfully install the May update no problem back when that came out.

Thanks for the update, Chsitech.  If you have not updated since May, then there are most certainly Windows Store and Windows 10 updates available to you.

Adobe XD is a UWP application and often requires the latest Windows and Microsoft store updates be installed.  You can find more information about UWP applications at What's a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app? - Windows UWP applications | Microsoft Docs .
