I visited https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/estk to download the Extendkit Toolkit, but it just opens the CC panel (OSX) and nothing happens.

Where is ESTK now? I don't see it in 2017!

Click on the three dots, right of your profile image, click preferences, go to the "Creative Cloud" tab and then select "Show older apps" right at the bottom of the list

Adobe apps are downloaded through the Creative Cloud app. Extendscript Toolkit is towards the bottom of the list of apps. The web links in a browser don't always work.

That's where I'm looking and Extendscript Toolkit is not on the list of apps (OSX).

It normally appears near the bottom of the "Find Additional Apps" dropdown, but check under "Latest Versions", and the "Previous Versions" dropdown on the APPS tab. If an app has been installed, it moves from one list into another. If it does not appear under any of those, then there is something wrong. Possibly reinstalling/updating the Creative Cloud app might resolve it at that point. Beyond that point, I have no ideas. Perhaps Adobe tech support can help.

I went through my system and manually deleted everything I could find that was named Extendscript and rebooted.  Now Extendscript showed up under "Installed" (go figure)...  So, then I clicked "Uninstall" to clear it out, and it moved it to the "Find Additional Apps" section of CC.  So finally, I clicked "Install" again, and it looks like it's working, although there is no "Open" button next to it in the CC window like all the other installed apps.  It simply says "Up to date" next to "ExtendScript Toolkit CC".  If I go to Spotlight, however, it will at least find the app and let me run it now.

Looks like some random CC bug, so who really knows for sure what's going on.  Anyhow, thanks for the help!
