Have InDesign CS3 - how do I upgrade?

I am running Adobe InDesign CS3 on a PC.    I am trying to open a Mac InDesign file but having no luck.  Wondering if I upgrade the InDesign on my PC if that will do the trick.  Is there a new version for PC?

Time for a CC update - you can usually load older versions of your files in the current version, but won't be able to go "backwards" to an older file version.

CS3 is super-old and no longer supported at all, so I agree, CC is a good way to get caught up!

The last serial number version was CS6, and Adobe stopped selling that January 2017

I do not know if the Cloud version for a PC will open a Mac file
