I am trying to get the serial number so that I can have the permanent version of the Adobe XI that I purchased from Amazon.  Does anybody know how Adobe alerts a buyer to this info?  I purchased the software as a Download so do not have a box.

Adobe Student & Teacher Editions require that you verify your academic proof after you receive the software in order to obtain your serial number. The instructions for this verification process are inside the box. Adobe Student & Teacher Editions can be installed and used immediately for thirty days before a serial number is required.

You will need to go to the Adobe Student & Teacher Edition Eligibility Verification website listed in the instructions, enter your product code (found at the top of the instructions), enter your contact information, and submit academic proof. Once your academic status has been verified, you will be emailed a serial number. This process can take 1-3 business days, but you can still run a trial of the software while you wait.*

Hi Rave.  Amazon did provide me with a Product Key (it has APROW as the prefix and doesn't fit in the serial number boxes), but this does not work as a serial number to register the software.  I purchased the teacher edition of the sofware as I am an adjunct professor for a local college and I feel that Adobe is making me jump through a bunch of needless and time-consuming hoops to simply get my product registered.  I still need a serial number from somewhere and I did read some other people's comments saying that they have had an issue with this process.  Am I going to have to call support on this issue - which I was hoping to not do...?
