How to redeem my student Creative Cloud membership?

I have an old student account for creative suit. I purchased a new account with premier and all of the updates. When I try to install, it just keep sending me to to the free trial downloads and won't let me put in my new code. Also, do I need to uninstall the old systems to instal the new. If I do will I loose connections to old work that I still need? The product I purchased includes photo shop, indesign, illustration and premier.
