Question

Installing Illustrator CC with RTL support

Hello

I have two issues mixed up: installation and RTL support. I need to install Illustrator with RTL support (ME version)

I cannot install Illustrator via Application Manager - it fails with the message "The download appears corrupted. Please try again after a few minutes.(-60)"

Adobe support page dedicated to the issue states the following:

"Download the trial version of the software you are attempting to install. Once installed, sign in using the Adobe ID assigned to your Creative Cloud Membership."

The Illustrator trial download page links directly to the Application Manager, which fails again - back to square 1.  After some searching I could find a direct link to Illustrator installer, but not to the ME version. And that non-ME version does not seem to have the RTL support.

I'd appreciate any ideas - either how to solve the Application Manager issue, or where to download the ME version trial installer from, or how to get the non-ME version to support RTL...

Thanks in advance

Boris

P.S. An additional problem is that now (i.e. after installing the trial) the Application Manager is not "aware" of the fact I have the Illustrator installed...

you can download here, http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html

or if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html

and activate with your serial number.

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.

the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

in situations when you see consistantly see an error like the one you're seeing, you either have an internet connection problem or some (usually security) software interfering with the download.

Thanks, but I know this one, but it is of no help - I need an installer for the Middle Eastern version, and it's not there...

The only version available from that location does not seem to allow RTL paragraph switch

change your region to me/africa, http://www.adobe.com/international/selector/

then see if this offers you the correct version, https://creative.adobe.com/products/illustrator
