Master Collection CS6 Mac Installation Failed

This is not a download fail nor did the product install or partially install.  The problem I am encountering is the very initial installation point.  I double click on the installation application that comes with the Master Collection CS6 disc.  Once that inital loading window reaches 100% a window pops up stating that "Installation Failed", "Your installation encountered errors" and "Installer failed to initialize.  This could be due to a missing file."

I've searched the forum and the only other problem that is close enough to this issue discusses looking at the installation log.  However, this installation creates no log and therefore no way for me to understand what the exact errors are.  I am running OSX 10.6.8 and I have enough space and all the system requirements needed.

How can I fix this problem?

I tried everything, but it is still giving me the same error message.  If you notice it is a slightly different message then the one refered to in this link.  This one states "This could be due to a missing file." I'm not sure what that means, but it makes it sound like the installation disc is missing some files.
