Question

Mcafee LiveSafe

I am currently moving to a new PC which has McAfee LiveSafe preinstalled, when I installed CC in my current PC (4years ago) I had problems with McAfee blocking it and eventually had to remove McAfee. Does anybody know if CC now works OK with McAfee and if not what fixes there are.

Thanks

I have no problems with McAfee and Creative Cloud.  I've been using them together since 2012.

I do  that but as I remember last time I think Mcafee firewall was blocking Adobe CC and I could not find a solution so removed it completely. I expect I will find out when I try to install CC on my new PC but I was wondering id anybody was already using Livesafe with Adobe CC

Thanks

if you have a firewall problem, confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers by reading, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

do you see both logos?

if you can and still see a connection error, white list the adobe network endpoints, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html

generally, you should suspend or close your antivirus when installing adobe programs.

Just for the records: I never did suspend my virus protection when installing programs. At work that is generally not possible. We have McAfee Endpoint Security.
