Photoshop CS6 License switch from PC to Mac

i own Photoshop CS6 and have it installed on my PC desktop and PC laptop. i am contemplating buying my first Macbook Pro. Can i uninstall my current Photoshop from my laptop and download CS6 to my new Macbook Pro, or do i need a new license?

    Hi Sid,

    If you have a multiple platform license of CS6 you can use the below link and download and install the CS6 app on Mac and license them with the same serial key:

    Download Creative Suite 6 applications

    However, if you don't have multiple platform license of CS6 then you'll have to get the platform swap done see,

    Exchange a product for a different language or platform version

    I guess my question is – If I have one PC desktop and one Mac laptop, does my license permit me to have two installations on those two machines? Or, do I need to purchase an additional license for my second machine. With my old licence I had two installations, one of my desktop PC and the other on my PC laptop.

    With one license you can activate two machines and use the programs. see, Licenses and terms of use | Adobe

    **** NOTE : if you have a windows version of CS6 only then you will not be able to use the app on Mac and vice-versa.
