problem with the Download Manager

Hi there,

I I have a problem with the Download Manager : whenever I try to install or update an adobe software, I'm stuck because the Download Manager just stays blank. I did some research on the Web and found that many people had the same problem, though I couldn't find any precise answer to the problem. So, can anyone tell me how to install the new updates? Basically, I'm just interested in Reader and Flash Player.

Although, I don't know if it could be related to this, but I know sometimes I can't use Java applets in my browser (I use Firefox), even if I have the latest Java version, and I don't even have a Java plugin, i don't know why! (I'll have to ask on a Java forum because it's kind of annoying not to be able to use some java applets..)

Thanks!

if this is a creative cloud desktop app issue,

first, close your cc desktop app.

then, rename the opm.db file by:

    navigate to the OOBE folder.

        Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

        Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder

and rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db, eg

finally, launch your cc desktop app.

if that fails: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/blank-white-screen-ccp.html
