Problems installing CS3

Hi,

after my hard drive crashed, I set it up again (windows 8.1) and ever since I cannot install CS3 master collection (although it worked before the crash on windows 8.1 and 10).

things I already tried:

uninstalled cloud and master collection, used the cleaner tool, installed the master collection, ended with an error that only acrobat was able be installed.

Also tried to install it from the download instead of my CDs.

What else can I do?

    Thanks for the update Nadine.  You are correct Adobe support will never initiate a Skype session.  I will report Alice's profile.

    It took a while, but after re-installing the operating system, it's working now, thanks!

    Nadine what error are you receiving that is preventing the installation?  The error will be recorded in the installation log.  For details on how to locate the installation log for Master Collection CS3 see Troubleshoot installation with install logs | Adobe Creative Suite 3, Adobe Creative Suite 4​.

    Please post any errors you discover in the log to this discussion.
