- page has links to programs to find an installed serial number in Mac or Windows

- includes link to your Adobe account to check for registered serial numbers

Of course, Creative Cloud uses your account, not a serial number

To combat fraud and pirated software! If you buy any software product there is a system to maintain your exclusive use of what you pay for. Write down the serial numbers somewhere!

In Adobe's system, you register the product on installation. Once registered you can go to your account at Adobe.com, log in and see your serial numbers.
