I have been searching the forums and it looks like only mac users have had this problem, I am a windows 8 pro user and every time I want to open up after effects cs6, it keeps coming up with a message simply saying:

Configuration error

Please uninstall and reinstall the product

If this problem still occurs please contct adobe technical support and mention the error code shown at the bottom of the screen

Error: 15

http://www.adobe.com/support

I have uninstalled and reinstalled th eproduct several times, i've even run the creative suite cleaner tool and reinstalled my operating system twice.

It still doesnt work. Please I could really need some help fast as I need to use this for a school project and i've already been trying for days.

Thanks

If you need immediate assistance then please contact our support team.  You can access our chat support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.

For the error you are experiencing though it appears to be a file permission issue.  Please see Configuration error - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/configuration-error-cs5.html for information on how to resolve your current difficulties.

Thanks for the help, but using this method it didnt work. I might reattempt an install of windows 7 if I can find my disk.
