Question

Unable to uninstall CS3

I suddenly started getting a "Licensing has stopped working" error when running CS3 applications. I followed ALL the steps on http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-licensing-stopped-windows.html to no avail. I searched this forum and tried to uninstall CS3, which failed. I ran the Adobe CS Cleaner Tool and I got "no session to delete" message. On the recommendation of one of the Adobe reps on the forum I ran a Microsoft Uninstaller tool and removed all CS3 products. Now I can neither install nor uninstall, nor run any of the CS3 applications.

An online chat with an Adobe rep didn't go anywhere. I was constantly just sent to the support page.

I also tried to call Adobe support but after being on hold for 10 minutes the call hung up.

Delete the caps.db.

I did. Deleted the caps folder, Adobe PCD and made sure FlexNet had all the permissions.

What happens when you try to reinstall? Do you get any error messages?

When I run the installer it shows a progress bar and then it quits. When I go to the control panel and click on add and remove programs and try to uninstall CS3 Design Premium the (un)installer doesn't launch.
