Updates for Photoshop 5.0 LE

Hi,

Im just looking for some help with PS 5.0LE.

I bought this years ago and had it installed on a desktop. After a couple of years of use, I had to reinstall it when a hard drive died. Once reinstalled Adobe automatically updated it (to what I cant remember, but it was at no cost).

Well that Desktop finally died and I just found the disc again so proceeded to install on my Laptop. It took some doing as my current laptop (windows) is a 64 bit. I've managed to source a more recent installer and even got windows to get it to run using a Windows XP service pack 2 version. During registration my serial number was rejected, presumably because of its age? I even managed to get around that problem, but am wondering if there are any critical updates I need to keep it happy? I cant find anything from searching with Mr Google..

Can anyone advise?

So you have successfully installed Photoshop now...right?

Yes it seems to be working fine as far as I can tell. At the time, I'm sure it also included a pdf writer as well. I can save as a pdf, but the writer option for general printing seems not to exist.
