Have been using FileZilla as a stopgap while dealing with other problems. Believe I'm well along toward resolving most of those; would now like to make sure D-W is putting files to server when saved and phase out reliance on FileZilla for this purpose if possible.
If one of you could show me where this setting is made, I would be grateful.

I don't recommend using that feature unless you're dead certain you have redundant backups of all files. If you carelessly make a mistake as we all do & automatically upload a bad file to your remote server, the live site will be effected.
I prefer to pause & check my work before uploading with Ctrl+Shift+U.
