I'm trying to create a login page for my website to restrict access of certain pages to members only. I followed the instructions in the "Using Dreamweaver" help section to a T, and I don't understand what's wrong. At this point I'm positive it's something really stupid that is glaringly obvious and I'm just missing it. I created the login form and connected it to the user database through the Log User In function, and I specified that a "succesful" log in should go to my home page, and a "failed" log in should go to a different page. I've tried messing with the Action Method, the field names and other stuff, but the only thing that happens when I preview the page and try to 'log in' using a member name I created is that the same login page refreshes itself with blank fields again. I don't know why this doesn't work, any ideas? Thanks

Do you have ColdFusion web server set up on your machine?

Does your web host offer ColdFusion web server? I know that not all web hosting offers that service. Be sure that your web host do have that. If your web host do not support ColdFusion, you are out of luck.

To learn more about how Cold Fusion server set up, please refer to Cold Fusion web page around Adobe under Product or support page. Try Search around Adobe, have you done some search?
