Hi, I am trying to set up a website in Dreamweaver for my client, who has purchased a domain from Hover.com

Can anyone explain to me where in Dream Weaver do I enter the domain settings?  TY

I just looked up Hover and they don't seem to actually host websites, they just are just a registrar. Dreamweaver is simply a website builder. What your client seems to be missing is a web host. Do they have hosting? If so, that would be from a company other than Hover once you setup the DNS with Hover.

Keep in mind that purchasing a domain name doesn't necessarily include a web hosting plan. They are two separate things.

Many people purchase a hosting plan from a commercial web host and a domain from a separate domain name provider. Hover.com appears to be the latter (domain names only).

Contact your hosting provider for details on how to connect the newly acquired domain name with your server.  This has nothing to do with Dreamweaver.

Site > New Site...

Create a site definition. See screenshots.

Click on SERVERS tab.  Enter your S/FTP log-in credentials as instructed by your web host.   Root Directory is where your host wants you to upload public web files.  This varies by hosting plan.

Hope that helps.
