Hi all,

I am trying to force high quality embed youtube video ...

i was told to try : &vq=hd720

- but it's not working... I am on a fast cable connection - so it should work.

My goal is to override the default - and make sure the vid plays at 720...

Any ideas how to get this working

Correct answer Nancy OShea

This is not a Dreamweaver question so much as a YouTube question.

Use VQ instead of HD.  VQ = video quality.

Hi Nancy,

Thanks for the help. I checked out the link and even the authors page demo does not seem to work.

Rather, it seems like the quality remains stuck to the last setting the user manually set in the browser? Is there some way to override this to force the hi quality?

Are you absolutely certain the video is available in Hi-Def?  Some are and some aren't.  It's not universal yet.
