What computer hardware would speed dreamweaver the most?

I am using: Intel Core i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz  with 32GB Ram with a 1TB SSD. I got this around 2014. 

 

I use my computer for large php, html, css files and photoshop editing. When I click to switch between supporting files such as .css and .js files it can take half a second to a second and sometimes there is a lag when I click in a line of code to edit.

 

Would a newer computer with a faster chip, newer/more ram help speed things up or am I asking too much?

    Your computer should be more than adequate for DW.   Maybe the lag is caused by your local testing server or other non-essential background processes. 

     

    Design view is faster than Live view, especially when editing PHP code.  See screenshot.
