Question

Yahoo displaying some text larger than it should do

Hello to all on here, so we have an issue with an email template that works fine when sent (via Zoho) and viewed in Mac Mail, Outlook (online), Outlook app and GMail, but when viewed on Yahoo Mail via the Yahoo website (at least on the iPhone) it displays two sets of text in different sizes, evne though they are set to be the same size in the code? Noticed that it does the same thing with one of the Dreamweaver templates (as pictured), has anyone else encountered this or similar, and got a fix for it?

Variation in rendering between email clients, versions and browsers is nothing new.  There's little that can be done to ensure pixel perfect consistency in all of them unless you use an image.  Also this is not a Dreamweaver question.  You will likely experience the same variation no matter which code editor you use.

Sorry if that's not the answer you were looking for.  You might try using another email template -- perhaps one from Litmus or MailChimp that has been tested to perform well in most major email clients.

    Good luck with your project!

Hiya Nancy and thanks for responding, had read about variations but just wondered if there was a way of definitively solving this one, though given one was a Dreamweaver template and it still occured thought likely it was just one of those things. Litmus is under consideration here for future use so we'll see how that turns out if we go with it. Thanks again for the reply!

You could try posting the source code of your email for suggestions about how to get the email rendering properly, but I would agree with Nancy that you should be using a tool and not DW to help with rendering emails. Many times, Litmus or other previewing functionality is built in so you can see rendering depending on where your audience is opening your email.  Do you know what email clients are being used the most to determine whether it is worth the time/effort to correct this for Yahoo?  Also Zoho appears to have this funtionality built in.  Have you tried using this feature yet - https://www.zoho.com/campaigns/inbox-previews.html ?
