Acrobat Pro XI installation fails - CCP

Hi McQueen,

Please follow the below mentioned steps:

1. Navigate to C/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old.

2. Ensure to create a 32 bit package for 32 bit machine and vice versa.

3. Follow the below sequence of Installation for Acrobat:

a. Run the Exception deployer command from Exception to deploy Acrobat

b. Then run the msi/setup from Build and launch Acrobat.

So for Acrobat Pro XI I have to follow these steps?
1.ExceptionDeployer.exe --workflow=install --mode=pre or can I run the msi that is in the ex
2. Run the setup.exe or msi
3. ExceptionDeployer.exe --mode=post 
And for the other products created with CCP for example Photoshop CC I have to follow these steps?
1. Run setup.exe or msi
2. Exceptiondeployer.exe --workflow=install --mode=pre
3. Exceptiondeployer.exe --workflow=install --mode=post
What happens if I choose not to run the Exeptiondeployer for Photoshop CC? What is installed from the exceptionfolder? There is a msi-file in the exception folder. Can I run the msi instead of the ExceptionDeployer.exe?

The steps you mentioned above are true . The remaining products that I meant were Adobe Lightroom & Adobe Muse.

1. I ran ExceptionDeployer.exe --workflow=install --mode=pre to just install acrobat pro xi

When I launched acrobat I got following message (translated from swedish to english):

Adobe Application Manager is required to verify your license but is missing or damaged.

Download a new version of Adobe Application Manager from...

2. Then I decided to install Photoshop and Acrobat Pro. I ran this two command lines from a file:

Exceptiondeployer.exe --workflow=install --mode=pre

msiexec.exe /i "packagename".msi

Both Photshop and Acrobat Pro installed and I could launch them both but when I look in add/remove programs in control panel I found two installation of Acrobat Pro XI.

I have to deploy acrobat to about 50 users and a combinations of adobe products to several of my users.

I thought CCP would make it easier to deploy your products but I'm not sure anymore
