K-12 enviroment, we currently still use device licensing, which has worked well for 2 years and plan to move to the shared device and user licensing for the fall. However, I'm attemtping to setup art and photography students in our k-12 enivorment to be able to use the 2 months free license.
I believe I'm just going to upload the bulk users to a students group via csv. From testing this out it seems to work fine, though it takes a few steps to create the account for the students.
My question is will these licences effect my available licences I currently have remaining.
I'm weary of using federated ID or enterprise ID because it seems like it would effect our current license and activated devices.
Any guidance would be great.
Thanks
The free at-home access plan does not affect your current Named user licenses. Any users already present in your admin Console with have access automatically; for example, users with Adobe Spark for K-12.
If you're adding new users, when you upload the CSV to create the new user accounts, ensure that you do not associate these users with any Product or Profile, either directly or through a group. If you have Adobe Spark, you can assign the Adobe Spark product to the users, so that they get ac

Hi Rob,
"To be eligible for this access, your school or college must be a current customer with an active Device, Shared Device License, or Serial Number plan." Source: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/covid-19-education-labs.html
Hence, it does not affect your current Device licenses as well.

Thank you
I was told that I still needed available licenses to cover any free accounts I set up.
Seemed odd.

Rob, as long as you do not assign any paid entitlements to those students, you do not need available licenses to cover free licenses.
Hope this answers your query.
