Admin Console Feature Release Announcement | Self-service Azure Sync Migration
It’s with great excitement that we announce the next release on our Azure Sync roadmap, Self-service Azure Sync Migration, for Adobe’s enterprise customers using federated directories.

With the release of Azure Sync with SCIM in November 2020, Adobe separated federation and sync capabilities so that an Azure Sync integration can be added to any federated directory regardless of the configured identity provider. If your organization configured Azure Sync between July 31, 2019 – November 8, 2020, you can now update to latest version of Azure Sync with SCIM via a self-service process in the Adobe Admin Console.
Adobe has upgraded the Azure Sync experience to enhance security and provide additional protections and configuration options to customers using this sync option. The previous version will discontinue after October 15, 2021, and will be removed from directories automatically. All the synced users, provisioned licenses, and cloud-stored assets will be intact and recoverable on reconfiguration with SCIM or another form of user management. Adobe strongly recommends adding Azure Sync with SCIM when removing the former version from your federated directory to maintain sync capabilities.
Self-service Azure Sync Migration is available in all enterprise Admin Consoles (ETLA and eVIP) as of June 23, 2021. Get started by following these steps in the Adobe Admin Console.
