I just noticed when my adobe creative updated this time it installed new 2023 versions but left on the 2022. Do I just uninstall the 2022 versions? AI, InDesign and PS and bridge but not Lightroom.
You may want to wait to uninstall it until you are sure that you won't need the old version.
I keep all old versions installed in case I need to open an old project that won't open in a new version.
it's your option whether you want them removed:

yes, if you don't want previous versions, uninstall then.

I was wondering about that, don't the programs take up alot of space though. If not guess it no big deal to leave them, I was surprised the update didn't just remove them.

It's OK to leave old versions around, but at the end of the day, you really end up with a lot of older software, you will never use again. However, sometimes there is a reason to keep old software on the disk, for example when finishing a project, and you don't want for the new software to mess that up. Sometimes new versions react differently, and that causes unnecessary stress.

BTW it won't let me remove the old versions at all so they just sit there. Adobe has strange programming I have an issue with CC as well always need to repair to launch it. Oh well.

you apparently have a plan administered by an enterprise or team, so you should contact the plan administrator.

Who is "It"? If you are using a managed computer, check with your system administrator. At work, I have a managed computer, without being administrator (of the computers), and I'm able to update and remove any program from the Creative Cloud without any problem. Creative Cloud is the only program (environment), that I know, that is providing an easy to use tool for the users to upgrade their own programs, if the IT system managers allow this, without the need to access a system account.
Most of my problems with Adobe programs were related to misconfigurations of my system and that of my collegues from our IT department. Most of the time, I was able to detect such misconfigurations, because I have a lot of IT experience, as I was a system manager for our network for most of my career.

...this is great. Adobe has made Muse unusable, and Dreamweaver developers aren't doing anything to update DW (although all the "expert" Muse community moderators are telling the Muse community to use DW... ) so our choice is to use an outdated, un-updated program (DW) and hope Adobe doesn't make IT non-functional. I'd really like a solution that doesn't involve having to close this, ignore that, turn around three times and bark at the moon while holding down the ALT and Ctrl keys simultaneously. Thanks a lot, Adobe... glad to see my $60/month is being spend on what I need, as long as I define that need as being able to make pretty kitty cat pictures with AI.

muse is still usable. is yours closing after starting to open?

NO Muse is NOT usable. It starts to load, disappears and won't load. You also cannot even try to open it from the CC app. You can click on the Muse icon and nothing happens. All the other apps on the CC app open just fine. When they updated Creative Cloud app muse became non functional.

use your windows uninstaller on the cc desktop app, but select repair, not uninstall. then quickly click muse to open it while the cc desktop app is being fixed.

Uninstall what? Muse? I don't get a repair option with the uninstaller, just cancel, remove and keep the preferences. On the W 11 trying to uninstall the Creative Cloud app I don't get an option for repair, either. What I want Adobe to do is to fix what they've broken. This all started with the deployment of V 6.1.0.587, and tThis is just ridiculous monkey motion brought on by bad Adobe code; I appreciate your ideas, but for god's sake I'm a photographer NOT a coder or developer. I've already started to move beyond some of their stuff; ON1 RAW MAX is light years more capable of Camera Raw, for example... maybe it's time to find somewhere else to spend the $720/year I send adobe. Personally, if this latest nonsense (along with the Bridge issue of a couple months ago, and dozens of "here, you fix it, we're just too busy") is any indication, I don't think they'd give a hoot.

adobe's aware of the problem. if you prefer to wait instead of using a work-around now, wait.

....i'd love to use the work around... problem is that this computer and its SSD drives are too quick... by the time I get to the Muse icon to start it, it's already restarting the CC app and I get the same thing; it loads and actually shows the opening page, sits there for a few seconds and crashes. Please understand, I'm authoring this project only because my client wants to be able to make changes and add events to a calendar widget, and videos via a video widget; it's what she knows and she doesn't want to learn Dreamweaver or Wordpress or anything beyond this digital dinosaur.

another work-around is to shut-down adobe processes and then start muse, https://community.adobe.com/t5/creative-cloud-services-discussions/muse-not-running-after-creative-c...

...I'll give that a try when I get back in the office... Thank you for your advice and persistence!

Since the last Creative Cloud update (Dec 16), I've received 6 direct messages from customers who cannot launch Muse. It crashes immediately on launch. It's worth noting also that Muse stopped receiving updates in 2018.
I'm sorry but I don't have a solution for End of Life software. My only advice is to contact your Enterprise/Teams IT admin and have them submit a support ticket to Adobe.
Good luck.

...and this is not related to one computer or Windows version. Doesn't work in 10 Pro or 11 Pro, two different laptops and two different desktops, from two different users. There's a post on a locked thread where I see I am far from the only user having this issue. This all started when Creative Cloud was updated, and I am screwed. I've missed a deadline for a client that wants it done in Muse so they can update it with their software.
