AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe cleanup.xml not detecting 2019 CC apps

Explorer ,
Jul 03, 2019 Jul 03, 2019

I am having issue with  AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe.

I am using this article: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

When im creating an XML with the command AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe --createCleanup =C:\Temp the tool doesn't detecte my 2019 CC products installed.

I have Indesing and illustrator 2019 installed but they aren't showing in my cleanup.xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

-<Products>

-<Properties>

<Property name="eulaAccepted">1</Property>

<!--<Property name="removeFlashPlayer">1</Property>-->

</Properties>

-<AAM>

<!--<Product productName="Adobe Application Manager" version="1.0"/>-->

</AAM>

-<CreativeCloud>

<!--<Product productName="CoreSync (32 Bit)" version="4.2.7"/>-->

<!--<Product productName="CC Library (32 Bit)" version="3.2"/>-->

</CreativeCloud>

-<AdobeIdCredentials>

<!--<Product productName="Adobe Id Credentials" version="1.0"/>-->

</AdobeIdCredentials>

</Products>

Note that older versions were being detected and uninstalled.

did you uninstall your cc programs using the cc desktop app?  (Uninstall or remove Creative Cloud apps)

if so, what problem are you having the requires using the cleaner?  if not, why are you using the cleaner?

I am using the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanertool.exe to uninstall "Silently" uninstall all CC apps and CC himself on multiple computers at the same time.

I have created a custom cleanup.xml to remove all versions of Illustrator, photoshop, indesign and bridge on my IT infrastructure in order to reinstall a new package with the "Enable Remote Update Manager" on.

Here is my cleanup.xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<Products>

<Properties>

<Property name="eulaAccepted">1</Property>

<!--<Property name="removeFlashPlayer">1</Property>-->

</Properties>

<CreativeCloud>

<Product productName="Adobe Creative Cloud" version="2.0"/>

<Product productName="Photoshop CC" version="19.0"/>

<Product productName="Photoshop CC" version="19.1.6"/>

<Product productName="Photoshop CC" version="19.1.7"/>

<Product productName="Photoshop CC" version="19.1.8"/>

<Product productName="Photoshop CC" version="20.0.0"/>

<Product productName="Photoshop CC" version="20.0.1"/>

<Product productName="Photoshop CC" version="20.0.2"/>

<Product productName="Photoshop CC" version="20.0.3"/>

<Product productName="Photoshop CC" version="20.0.4"/>

<Product productName="Photoshop CC" version="20.0.5"/>

<Product productName="InDesign" version="14.0.2"/>

<Product productName="InDesign CC" version="14.0.1"/>

<Product productName="InDesign CC" version="14.0"/>

<Product productName="InDesign CC" version="13.1"/>

<Product productName="InDesign CC" version="13.1.1"/>

<Product productName="InDesign CC" version="13.0.1"/>

<Product productName="InDesign CC" version="13.0"/>

<Product productName="InDesign CC" version="12.0"/>

<Product productName="Illustrator" version="23.0.3"/>

<Product productName="Illustrator CC" version="23.0.2"/>

<Product productName="Illustrator CC" version="23.0.1"/>

<Product productName="Illustrator CC" version="23.0"/>

<Product productName="Illustrator CC" version="22.1"/>

<Product productName="Illustrator CC" version="22.0.0"/>

<Product productName="Illustrator CC" version="21.0.2"/>

<Product productName="Bridge CC" version="8.0"/>

<Product productName="Bridge CC" version="8.0.1"/>

<Product productName="Bridge CC" version="8.1"/>

<Product productName="Bridge CC" version="9.0"/>

<Product productName="Bridge CC" version="9.0.1"/>

<Product productName="Bridge CC" version="9.0.2"/>

<Product productName="Bridge CC" version="9.0.3"/>

<Product productName="Bridge" version="9.1"/>

</CreativeCloud>

</Products>

It works just fine for all version around my network exept the apps highlighted in bold.. AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe doesn't seem to be recognizing these two apps versions. Yes thier name is different, it doesn't contain CC but thats the way Adobe decided to call them.

Hi,

Our recommendation is to use Creative Cloud Packager to build an uninstaller for the applications you want to uninstall.
