Advice on imacs

I'm looking to get an IMac to start my graphic design degree however this would be on a budget so ideally looking for a cheaper option rather than buying the brand new ones , therefore looking at older models. 
which is the oldest mac that still can update to use the newest versions of creative cloud?

I've been looking at 2015 iMacs but not sure if they can update enough

Based on the applications which you are going to use, here are the links to the minimum system requirements(Windows and MacOS) to use the following Creative Cloud Desktop applications:

For Illustrator, click here,

For InDesign, click here.

You need to read the system requirements carefully. For EACH app. It isn't a question of Mac model, it's a whole collection of features.
