Can't uninstall Photoshop or illustrator

For the life of me I cannot uninstall Photoshop or illustrator and I don't know why. 

I downloaded it on my home laptop so I could do work for school. But now that I'm unable to use it due to my course being over, and having no use for it, I cannot delete it and I need the space 

I'm able to go into the settings, but whenever I hit uninstall it doesn't do anything. No error code pops up, no massage about it being unable to uninstall, the window of "yes I want to delete" pops up, and when I hit yes that just disappears and it doesnt delete.
