CC log in issue after download

Hi! I recently switched institutions, leading me to have to reset my CC account with a new email. Unfortunately, whenever I now try to open the Creative Cloud app, I get a message saying "You've been signed out, please sign in again to continue using Adobe apps". When I try to click the "Sign in" button, I'm just redirected to the same page, making it impossible to sign in. I've literally tried everything to solve this with no luck -- uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting the computer -- so if anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate the help!
