cc wants to instal the 2018 version and not the 2019 version

I created a creative cloud package with admin rights as per installation instructions.

The package was installed on a windows 10 pc.  the desktop console shows the update link so it has been installed with admin rights.

The computer is correctly registered in the cloud admin panel.

But the package creates separate 2018 apps outside of the cc desktop console.  Like any other windows 10 app.  I am unable to show you this as this forum does not allow screen shots.

The 2019 versions are not in all apps in the cc desktop console but in the trial apps section of the cc desktop console.  So it is asking me to pay money to receive the 2019 versions even though I have a paid all apps subscription.

I deleted the 2018 apps 3 times and created new packages 3 times now and the same thing keeps on happening.

Given that adobe offers no support and their installation videos and documentation do not reflect what actually happens, can someone please help me on how to install this product so I have access to the 2019 versions that I have paid for.

I recommend NOT to include the CC Desktop App within your package. When you use Creative Cloud Packager to build your package you can choose to omit it.

Hi,

The CC 2019 applications are only available under Named User licenses. They are not available for device licenses and serial numbers.

Please refer to the following document Creative Cloud product launches as a trial after the October 2018 update

Support is available via your Admin Console support tab.

Hi Chandrag67409014,

Moving this query to Deployment for Creative Cloud for Team, Enterprise, & CS community for quick and better help.

Creative Cloud 2019 apps require Windows 10 Creators update (version 1703) or later please check and confirm if your Win 10 pc has the latest build version installed, to know more you may refer to OS support for CC 2019 apps

Or you may directly create a support case through your Admin Console to get direct support for more information see: Support and Expert Services.

Let us know if this helps.

Thanks

I have been on hold for 6 hours and phone support still has not picked up my call.  nice music but this is ridiculous.

I have a device license, not a user license.  so I have to use the cc desktop.  but the desktop will not support cc2019.  yet. so they say.
