Change from managed updates to individual updates

!When I installed CC through a package in my team I disabled the option that the team members can update the apps themselves. Now I regret doing that. I want them to be able to update their own apps whenever they wish. Is that possible with a simple option change in AAM or where ever? Please help me.

We've done what you just said. And we were very optimistic. Because he can now click all options (in cc app and the application itself) for checking for updates. Two apps said they needed to be updated, so he did. All others had to be installed again, so we did and hoped the latest versions would be installed. But still InDesign and Dreamweaver are not up to date (although CC app says that they ARE up-to-date) The other applications that are installed are Photoshop, Illustrator, Experience Design and After Effects. These are all the latest versions. So we are almost there I hope?

Can you try the solutions in the following document

Hi,

You just need to remove the file AdobeUpdaterAdminPrefs.dat  from the location noted in the document.

Hi, I did what you said. Before I did it I could not check for updates in de CC app, it was grey. After deleting the file and restart the computer it was 'active' again. I thought it worked. But it is not the case. When I choose 'check for updates' the CC app says the apps are up to date. But unfortunately this is not the case. Because this particular team member is working with InDesign 2015.0 instead of 2015.4.

I hope you have a solution. I am not working tomorrow so if you react I will not be able to try again untill monday. Thank you in advance.

I would try signing out of Creative Cloud and then signing back in.

Thank you, Alister. English is not my native language. I tried to do what it said in the link, but I don't really understand where I have to put that text. I tried making a texteditor document but that didn't let me save the file as .dat but as .rtf. But then again it looks like it will disable upgrading, but I would like to enable my teammembers to do future app updates themselves. What would be the most easy way to do that?

Thank you
