Cloud application versions differ across multiple computers

Our office has a small number of iMacs of various age. With this comes various versions of the OS.

Our problem is that no two of our applications (InDesign especially) have the same features from one computer to the next. This makes file sharing unpredictable.

We purchased a site licence for Creative Cloud but I take it that we need a Team version.

I've done some looking around Adobe's site but can't seem to find more technical answers as opposed to marketing information.

Would love some clarity.

Thanks.

This is most probably due to the different versions of the operating system. Newer versions of the Creative Cloud apps don't support older OSes. Infact, the update and install process won't install an app on an unsupported version. Since the apps are exactly the same, upgrading to the Creative Cloud for teams won't resolve this. Teams add some license and user management capabilities, along with enhanced strorge and services for effective colloboration. But the app versions are determined by the minimum system requirements and the system harware and software.

My office is experiencing what I think is similar to "stewartt46527766". However, I followed your directive to check for the latest app version supported, and all of my computers meet the minimum requirement, which is currently Catalina. But two of my computers are Catalina, one is Big Sur, and one is Ventura. One of my Catalina computers is getting an error message that the software is incompatible with her operating system. My other Catalina is not getting that error message. Why is that?
