We are about to install Citrix on a terminal server running Windows server 2008 64-bit operating system.   We want to install Acrobat 9 Standard on this box.  Is there any problem with compatibility??

Thanks in advance.

I deployed multiple Citrix XenApp 5.0 on Windows 2008 x64 farms. I used the customization wizard to create a package to install on servers.

I found some specific users and specific PDF files can cause a lot of CPU use (sometimes 25% or 50% of vCPU of the VM).

I set the compatibility mode of .exe file to Windows 2003 servers to resolve this CPU issue.

I was incorrect in my previous post. Here are the details:

9.x products: Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and XenApp 5.0 on Windows Server 2003 64-Bit Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 2 (SP2) and 2008 server 64-Bit Enterprise Edition with Service Pack 1.

I'm currently looking for an updated version of this White Paper,

http://www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/citrix_9.pdf

As it explains deployment of Acrobat 9 on Citrix Presentation Server 4.0/4.5 (4.5 is the first with XenApp Brand)

There is /some/ issues with it, but not big ones.

I'm currently looking for the White Paper on XenApp 5.x or 6.x with Acrobat 9, and if possible Win2008R2(SP1)

Refer to the admin guide here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/837/cpsid_83709.html.

Only X products have been tested with XenApp.
