Hi. I support the California Community Colleges at the state level with online teaching PD. This includes over 60,000 faculty. I know a lot of our colleges have a site license for Adobe (but I don't know which ones) and I know a lot of them don't. I'm trying to get clarity about some specific questions that are not clearly answered in your support resources.
Can please answer these four questions?
- If a person creates a new free Adobe Express account, do they have access to Adobe Spark Video? I have been told by Adobe over and over that Spark will always be free. But it is listed as a Premium Express feature on the pricing page. This is super important for us to understand because we are framing it as a FREE tool. When I log in with my existing free account, I have acces but I can't tell if that's because I've been grandfathered in.
- I noticed that there is an Educator account for Adobe Express but it's only available for K-12 teachers. Can we change that? Is there a reason why Adobe is leaving out higher ed?
- Moving forward, is there a plan to integrate the Adobe Spark Video interface into the Adobe Express mobile app? If not, does Adobe plan to continue to update/support the Adobe Spark Video mobile app? Many faculty use the app and even more students rely on it so this is critical to understand, as well.
- Finally, how can I get a list of California Community Colleges that have a site license for Express? Most faculty we work with have no clue if they have a license. It would be super helpful to have a list. I am also working on this internally but can't find anyone who has this information at the state level.
Thank you.
