Hi everyone,
For the last couple of days I've been trying to install creative cloud, however it simply won't work. I need to install the app to be able to switch between my two Adobe IDs (one personal, and the other from my organdization). I go to the download page (both the main and the one I discovered to be an alternate) click install, go to my Chrome downloads, and open the installer. I then enter my password, skip the two personal questions, and it starts downloading. It starts at zero then jumps to about 4%, after this it jumps all the way to 100%, right before the installer quits it tells me that the CC app will automatilcally open. It did not, I searched in all of my files, and nothing. If anyone has a solution, has had the same experience, or knows someone who has an answer it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out. Based on your description, it seems you’re unable to install the Creative Cloud app on your machine. Could you confirm if this is correct and let us know which operating system you’re using (Windows or macOS)?
In the meantime, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
Verify Internet Connection
Ensure you have a stable internet connection. The Creative Cloud app requires an active connection to download and install. If prompted, try selecting Retry. If the issue continues, proceed to the next step.
Clear Browser Cache and Cookies
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, and ensure your browser is updated to the latest version. If the issue continues, go to the next step.
Try a Different Network
Switch to another network (e.g., mobile hotspot) to rule out restrictions caused by your current network or firewall.
Configure or Temporarily Disable Firewall
A firewall may be blocking the installer. Temporarily disable it to test:
Windows Firewall Guide

macOS Firewall Guide
https://adobe.ly/4ng4cdc
If disabling the firewall resolves the issue, allow Creative Cloud apps through the firewall.
Update Your Operating System
Install any pending OS updates. Outdated systems may block application installation.
Temporarily Disable Antivirus Software
Your antivirus software may block the installer. Temporarily disable it, then try installing again.
Allow Adobe Apps Through the Firewall
If prompted, allow Creative Cloud apps through the firewall. If not prompted, disable the firewall temporarily to test.
Completely remove any partial or failed installs
Download Adobe’s Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool:
https://adobe.ly/462ZqZk
Run it and select All Creative Cloud apps to remove any remnants of prior installations.
Restart your computer.
Reinstall Creative Cloud Desktop with elevated permissions
Download the latest Creative Cloud installer directly:
https://adobe.ly/3JI4oTN
Right-click the installer → choose Run as administrator (Windows) or use an admin account on macOS.
If prompted for your system password, enter it and allow the installer to finish.
Hope this helps. let us know if you need further assistance.
Regards,
^AN
