Creative Cloud won't let me install

My employer set up an enterprise account in March and I couldn't get Adobe CC working then. I went through support which was a waste of time but luckily I still had cs6 on my MacBook...

Today, my Mac OS updated and I have lost CS6.

I since tried installing CC and apps which I need for my work and nothing is happening. Adobe support were no help last time - is there anything I can do or should I just give up? Right now, Affinity looks a lot less trouble..

Correct answer Alf Phillips

Hello alfPhil,

The reason you are not getting any apps under your account because there is no named user license assigned to you. The organization to which you are associated with has the shared device license(device-based license) under which you are added which can be accessed only when the IT of your organization installs the shared device license package on your machine.

Kindly contact and request them to install the correct licensed package on your machine.

We have now forwarded the matter to our College Group Adobe License Admin.

My feeling is they will have to look at a new laptop or a new work username and ID so that I can try a different Adobe enterprise ID by September.

"My employer set up an enterprise account in March and I couldn't get Adobe CC working then."

Contact your employer's IT dept for assistance.  They have to set this up for you before you can access Creative Cloud from an Enterprise account.

Also please ensure your computer meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements to run Creative Cloud + all other apps you intend to use.

CS6 will never work on Catalina.  Catalina doesn't support 32-bit apps.

I have the same problem in that Catalina installed itself today and I've lost CS6. Thing is, my employer sorted out an enterprise account for us at work and Creative Cloud installs but I can't get any of the Apps I am supposed to be teaching my students anymore.

Truly frustrating.

" I can't get any of the Apps I am supposed to be teaching my students anymore."

You really should be teaching using the current software, not many years old applications.

Your students won't be able to use the old software when they get new computers.
