Data from Content Logs ?

New Here ,
Mar 25, 2025 Mar 25, 2025

Content Logs are great in the Admin Console as it is useful to understand product usage from our licensed end-users, including locally installed desktop apps.

Is there a way to obtain this data via API or at least automate the reports somehow?

Hi @matt_1365,

Thank you for reaching out. Based on your message, you're looking for a way to programmatically access the data available in Content Logs from the Adobe Admin Console—either via API or through an automated reporting method. Please confirm if this is the assistance you are seeking.

Currently, there is no public API or automated process available to directly retrieve Content Logs. These logs must be downloaded manually via the Adobe Admin Console. You can find detailed steps in the following documentation:
https://adobe.ly/3FSPd8j

That said, I will forward your request to the appropriate internal team for consideration in future feature enhancements. Thank you for sharing this feedback.

If your organization has access to the Adobe Developer Console, you may find the following APIs useful for broader administrative and reporting capabilities:

  • User Management API (UMAPI):
    https://adobe.ly/4hPuNdT
This API allows enterprise customers to programmatically manage users, groups, and product entitlements, enabling automatic provisioning and synchronization with your identity systems.

  • Reporting API (Analytics 2.0):
    https://adobe.ly/41XUy5H
This API allows access to report data programmatically, using the same data available in the Adobe Analytics UI. Please note that this is separate from Admin Console Content Logs and pertains specifically to Analytics data.

To stay informed on API updates and new capabilities, you can monitor Adobe’s developer documentation at:
https://adobe.ly/440Nw2L

We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions or require additional support.

Regards,
^AN
