DC Reader usage for non-DC users

New Here ,
Sep 13, 2018 Sep 13, 2018

hi

we face a problem on multiuser devices.

User A has Arcobat DC license and gets DC software installed on his device.

user B has only READER installed on B's device.

User A now works on B's device -> DC will be installed, READER uninstalled.

User B returns and cannot work with READER included in DC installation.

What is the right procedure to provide READER to all and DC to moving users?

What I forgot!

Of course the solution should work on WIN7 and WIN10 environments.

Sorry!

I do not understand what you mean by "Reader included in DC application". There is Acrobat Reader and there is Acrobat (Pro or Standard). Both are part of the DC family.

Users need to install the software for which they have a license. The software won't just work out what to do, they are different products. If a user uses a machine temporarily with their software, they need to sign out and uninstall before returning the use of the machine.

Within a DC installation, reader binaries are installed in reader-directory of the DC installation.

In our professional infrastructure users do not have permissions to install and uninstall.

User A leaves B's devices without uninstalling DC.

Then the enterprise must manage the uninstall somehow.
